Message	look like? Diesels only use direct injection whether it is two stroke like the Detroit engines in buses or four stroke like the Cummins and Caterpillar engines. It's not an engineering marvel to piston engines. I am surprise not more gasoline engines use this method. Remember the 80's when there was GM'sTBI (Throttle Body Injection)which was nothing more than a glorified carburator with injectors installed. Now we have individual injectors which are superiour to that.
